Barebones is a computer system that will not have an operating system installed but has all the necessary working components to install one.
POST stands for Power-On Self-Test. This means the item powers up, but no other checks have been made unless otherwise stated.
If referring to a laptop or desktop these would have been powered up to the point of entering the BIOS.
COA stands for Certificate of Authenticity. This is the small rectangle sticker on the side of your computer or underside of your laptop (sometimes under the battery). This sticker will have the product key on for the Windows installation.

Once your order has been despatched you will receive an email from us containing the delivery details. This email will go to the email address provided at the order stage (or the one selected by PayPal depending on how you have paid).

When we install Windows for you, we leave it in the 'Out-Of-Box-Experience' mode. This means you have a few days to activate Windows. This process is described in the booklet you will have received with the computer. During the activation procedure you will be required to enter the product key. This can be found on the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) and is normally found on the side of the computer or underside of the laptop (sometimes under the battery).

Please note: if there are two COAs (small rectangle Certificate Of Authenticity product codes) on the laptop or PC then this may be a refurbisher licence. You will have received an additional A4 licence from us. If this is not the case please contact us.
Due to the way our secure data destruction software works, it does not reinitialize drives that have been wiped. Normally this is not an issue if you are installing an operating system onto this drive, however if you are using the drive as an external or secondary drive please follow the procedure below:
Unfortunately, most likely not. We sometimes have hundreds of the same item in stock and because of this, we tend to use our stock photos for advertising.
